Main reason is that the traffic was brought in from Google - Redoing the website changed a lot of searches - Also for many page the small description that Google gives for a page disappeared!
One of the issue in low visitors is that Google dropped any type of description of the page content for many searches
Search "Facts about Italy" for example -
http://www.google.com/search?q=facts...L_enUS302US302
According to Google we need to add Meta Tags - We need to add Meta tags now and give description of the pages -
I just installed the meta tags module but I have to go through and add description to 1000+ pages .... so it might take all week ... If anybody feels like helping in any section I can explain what / how to do it :-)
