As I myself am a woman, I probably know much less about Italian women than many men would. I have heard many times that they are not so difficult to take to the bedroom, but they can be difficult to conquest. At one time we have pegged them to be similiar to Anglo-saxon men, as the Anglo-saxon women have more in common with Italian men.

I had ( limited ) experience with both American and Italian women in my life. My point of view is that there is no much difference. Italian American women are for example like Italian American men more conservative than Italian women. This is due to the fact that their families left Italy probably 50 to 100 years ago and they left Italy with that set of moral standards. But Italy has changed: in the 50s a mini skirt was censured on Italian TV – now days Italian TV is much more permissive than American TV. The Janet Jackson incident would not have been noticed in today Italy.
My point is that most of the time there is more difference between a New York woman and a Utah farmer woman than between 2 professional women one Italian and one American. We are not talking about Afganistan vs New York here, your chance of happiness as a couple Italian born- US born depends 95 percent of the couple itself because their background is not that much different after all considerations.

I am from Rome and really I dont Know who gave to you this kind of information, and because I understood that you are living in Italy I think you can see and know by yourself the Italian women. Maybe the Italian women can accept easily an invitation for dinner but that's it...it is not absolutely easy to go to the bedroom. They are very esigents and selectives and maybe for this many Italian men prefer to go outside of the country for finding someone who wants them. Around the world the Italian men are the fame to be the best lovers and gentleman and it is more easy for them to conquest the foreign women ... they can not play as Casanova with the Italian women because the Italian women know "all that glitters is not gold" ;-)

Certo che le donne italiane sono molto più abituate ad avere intorno un sacco di "provoloni" e quindi stanno molto più attente delle straniere che cadono facilmente nelle nostre "trappole" così scontate.
