Hmmm....Berlusconi, is he some people's idea of a typical Italian 'romancer'? We all have different tastes after all.

There was a tv series in the UK a couple of years back about which nation made the best lovers and funnily enough it was a German who won. He was considerate, funny and helped out around the house (how good is that), unfortunately the Italian was more interested in not getting his shoes dirty and telling his friends how good he was in bed. Having said that he was extremely handsome so perhaps we could overlook the other flaws!

We have a saying in Germany (probably elsewhere in the world too) which says: you are never alone with a handsome man.

There is a saying in Russian language, "all cats are gray at night." There are pluses and minuses in having a goodlooking man in your life. But I honestly think it is not that important. OK, he is or he is not beautiful, what does it change?

Qualities, like being romantic, knowing how to cook, being an interesting person, having a good sense of humor and most important of all being a good lover are in my openion a lot more important than beauty. Italian men on average (again in my openion) possess these qualities...

The Russian, I think you're right.
The beauty factor is taken into account only in the beginning, when you look for a partner. After you find one, a few months and you don't give importance to his/her beauty, but focus on other features, like those you've mentioned

Hmm I think you'd have to make an average of the ranking of Italy and US.
Example:
Italy 3° USA 28°
28+3=31
31/2= 15,5

I don't know how USA ranked though!

Zidanie5, agree with you completely. What kind of value does the beauty add in the long run (plus in the same long run beauty fades :-) It is a lot more enjoable to be with somebody who makes you laugh than with somebody who looks good on pictures :-)
