Default Buying Cookware in Rome

Hey, I am planning to buy some cookware in Rome,and noted that Lagostina is quite good, please let me know your opinion. And most important, do any one have a hints on the price of it, Thanks!

I know that Lagostina has a very good reputation.
I personally buy my cookware at IKEA or in one of the Panorama chain stores. They sell their lines cheaper than Lagostina and I'm happy with the quality. But I think that if you are serious about cooking, Lagostina is better.

I bought here in the US a pressure cooker and it not last that long. When I went to Italy my mother gave me hers since she does not use it anymore. I discovered that the latter was much much higher quality. Not a surprise since my mother's pressure cooker was made 20 - 25 years ago when things where yes more expensive but they tend to last much much longer.

Wow, I'm shocked. I would have never guessed that the pot is THAT old. It looked almost new to me.
