I love that stuff.

Here is a bit of trivia 69 in Irish (gaelic) and Arabic are the same. It really makes you wonder about how language travels.

Also on Sicily, did the Arabs/Saracens bring their knowledge of ice cream/gelati making to Sicily?

The shaved ice still sold outside the opera house in Palermo is that where it all comes from?

Gaelic or Sicilian will be my next language I'll learn after I finally get fluent in Italian. I have Irish descent, German descent, and most likely Italian descent. Maybe if I ever learn how to do a basic dance correctly I can learn some Italian and Irish dancing.
