Hello everybody,

I'm from the Netherlands, i want to learn the Italian language because i love Italy, the food and the language. I have visit Roma, Venezia and Lago di Garda.
Next summer i will stay for at least 2 weeks in Italy.
I'm a real beginner to the language so i hope to learn from you guys, i al ready have a lot of study material i will first begin with some audio training.

I'm really new to the language so first a lot of audio training (for the pronunciation) I will be doing and searching for it like counting and the alphabet, because those two I don't have on my audio cd's.
But luckily we have internet

(Sorry but my English is not so perfect - I hope you all understand me)

It may be difficult for you if you don't have the textbook to go with it but this website: Cominciamo! has a lot of audio and listening excercises. Even if you just want to hear how the Italian Language sounds from native speakers, it wouldn't hurt. Just click on audio program and use the links.

Welcome and hope you enjoy your stay. At first its difficult and for me the hardest part is posting or speaking in Italian because I can be shy especially if I make a mistake but from experience who cares just write and speak as much as you can it will help you more then you will ever know.
