Sheila, before you even think about removing or valuing these trees, please make a trip to your local commune and make sure that you do not need any special permission to remove the trees. If you remove the trees and later find out permission was required, you will be fined and that could take a good chunk or more than the total as a fine from the amount you make by selling them.
Approach a local nursery/garden centre to see if they would be interested in buying them and/or to get some general idea what the going rate is for similar trees if you want to sell privately, as nuseries have the specialist machinery to dig up, wrap the roots and transpost the trees.
I have seen the replies you received elsewhere on the internet and simply advise you to take no notice of the mean spirited response you had from at least one arrogant individual. |
