So im about to do this tattoo, but i need to know if the sentence makes sense in italian..and if it's even possible to translate the sentence from english to italian..

" if you have to crawl to live, stand and die "

i've been searching the internet and using babelfish translator..and this is what i've got so far

" se devi vivere strisciando, alzati e muori "

is it right? :S i'd like someone who speaks italian to respond!

Paolo, I think both are ok, because they seem to have a different meaning. The first one means "if you have to live your life crawling". the second one "if you have to crawl to live". The first one seems to have a more continuous meaning. As you can see, maxy used both infinitives in this sentence. You can't translate literally, I know, but for me, I'd choose the second one.
