Ciao mod. "After a couple of pages or even paragraphs, I can feel my eyes closing." LOL! Believe you me mod I know what you mean. LOL!
Mod, What a great opportunità you have to learn Italian with that communte of yours. I highly suggest you get and Ipod or some kind of
listening device. Having some kind of listening device is like having a traveling portatile language lab. Got a Zune listening device
that has 100's and 100's of hours of Italian, French, Portuguese and Spanish lessons and music on it.(mostly Italian lessons)
My Zune holds 120 GB. That's what a good computer holds. Most people only have 80 GB on their computers.
Can hold 100 full length movies. 500,000 songs and pictures. Is a radio and can transmit songs and audio language wirelessly.
Just yesterday had to take my car in to the shop. It took over 3 hours ma(but)I had my Zune with me and spent most of the
time listening to audio Italian. I recorded some of my Italian classes of my favorite Italian teacher and put it on my Zune.
Was listening to her speak and wow it was like being back in the classroom in Perugia, Italia. She was so interesting! Had to
laugh. It's so cool. I'm in California 8 thousands miles away from Italy and I'm walking around listening to my Italian class
qui in California. Doesn't get any better than that.
By the way. As we speak I'm listening to downloaded Italian audio on my computer.
On the site you have mentioned -http://www.e-book.com.au/freebooks.htm – there is information about another site I have been familiar with for a while:
http://www.liberliber.it -
se a qualcuno interessa ci sono audio libri e opere che si può scaricare gratis. Ho trovato qui “Pinocchio” di Collodi e mi ho fatto un grande piacere ascoltarlo.
Anche per divertirsi :

biblioteca dei bambini.
Have fun!
