Ciao Ranola. You just gave me a good idea. We could set up a program where we talk to each other by phone.
I can call anywhere in the U.S. for free 24/7 per esempio. Isn't there ways of talking by computer to forgein
countries? Forse(maybe)phone cards anche(too). I have called Italy, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and other
forgein countries with phone cards.

In the meantime and in between time you need to hear spoken Italian as much as possible. Dowload those
free audio Italian books. Dio mio! They are fantastico! Sometimes I listen to them and think to
myself people just have no idea what they're missing. I'm listen to one of them right now as we speak.
I Promessi Sposi. The Betrothed (I Promessi Sposi) is an Italian historical novel by Alessandro Manzoni,
first published in 1827, in three volumes. It has been called the most famous and widely
read novel of the Italian language.

http://www.liberliber.it - This is site where I've got a ton of Italian libri audio totalmente gratis.
After clicking on this site, click on "Entra" dopo(after) click on "Progetti" when this comes up then click
on "Libro parlato." E poi(and then) a list of Italian audio books appears. Click on any author of any of the
books per esempio Pinocchio, Promessi Sposi, Avventure di Nicola Nickleby or anyother one and then you can
download right into your computer and you'll have a permenant copy of any and all of the many Italian books there.
Easier than fooling with a bunch of CDs.

Don't waste anymore time. You can be learning Italian while
you're talking or typing and reading the forum.

Io non ho tempo di perdere! E tu?

That programme sounds brilliant, I'd like to take part, I'm just beginnning to learn to speak l'Italiano. You can speak over MSN Messenger for free. I'd be great to have experienced speakers to practice with.

Va bene. If you're just getting started on Italian then you need to know these basic Italian expressions.

Si, No, Grazie. Prego./You're welcome. Forse./Maybe, Per favore./Please

Scusi./Excuse me., Come si dice... in italiano?/How do you say ... in italiano?

oggi/today, stasera/this evening, domani/tomorrow, ieri/yesterday, dopo/after, prima di/before, mai/never, sempre/always

Per favore parli piu piano./Please speak more slowly. Aspetti un momento./Wait a minute.

Perche?, Come sta? Bene, grazie. Dove?/Where?, Quando?/When?, Buon giorno/Good morning, Buona sera./Good evening.

Ho fame. Ho sete. Sono molto stanco. Chi? Hai fame? Hai sete?
