When i lived in Valtellina I met a friend of mine who worked many years for Palace Hotel in Saint Moritz in Switzerland and he prepared the best SANGRIA I've ever tasted in my life.
This is his recice:
If you want prepare a great sangria you have to put in a cas at least 3 litres of wine (no less than 12% alcool) with a glass of vodka and half glass of maraschino or marsala then one peach, one apple and fruit season. At the end you have to put 2 spoon of sugar as you prefer.
You can change the quantities but the proportion has to be almost the same.
After 2 days you throw the fruit away and before serving you put inside fresh fruit again.
