I never heard of Pizzelle before. They must come from the South of Italy. All I had that was similar was Piadine from Emilia Romagna

They originate from Abruzzo. Wow...I taught Paolo something!!!!! What an honor And I'm not joking!

my favourites:
piadina with ham steak
piadina with raw ham
piadina with ham steak and squaquarone
and first of all piadina with nutella
