The sixth annual Valle San Giovanni luncheon will take place at noon on Saturday 3 October 2009 at DiPaolo’s Italian Ristorante in Penns Grove, NJ. As always all “Vallaroli” (people from Valle San Giovanni), guests and friends are welcome. Have been working with a high school professor, Lucio De Marcellis, from Teramo in Abruzzo on translating Wikipedia articles from Italian to English. The focus has been on writing about small towns in the hills between Teramo and the Gran Sasso. If anyone is interested in translating one of these articles (sgo to Wikipedia entry for Torricella Sicura for example) from Italian to English or from Italian to any other language, let me know and I can assist you.
