Climate Change and Italy

It looks like Italy is getting a little more serious about the effects of climate change with the announcement of a conference in Rome:

I am glad that they will be discussing what I feel is one of the most serious impacts of global climate change: water resources.

Our Future Human/Animal Hybrid Overlords

I am all for scientific advancement, but this latest news article is a little creepy:

Ho sentito dire che molti Italiani per celebrare l’inizio del nuovo anno buttano oggetti vecchi fuori dalla finestra la notte di Capodanno. Non lo so che sia vero o no....or whether Italians do this at all.

I had never expected the almost clinically clean Singaporeans would throw things out of their window, but my neighbors upstairs do it on a regular basis.

I finally had enough of it yesterday and complained....the security guy who came to check was outraged when...

Actually Lillian Schwartz first posed this theory years ago but apparently she never published. I suppose every artist leaves a bit of themselves in their work, but did Leonardo paint the Mona Lisa as a self-portrait?
