Thousands of Italians moving back to Italy

Well .. Italians are moving back to Italy from abroad. Why?
To rediscover there one time homeland.
Did you know that the majority of Italians from Italy living abroad in other countries of the world come from the southern regions of Italy.

Why did they leave in the first place? …War & Economics!

What do you tell these American/Canadian/Australian/British…Italians , about moving back...

Summer in the Città

Well, summer has finally come to Rome, with its scorching hot 90 degree days; hot enough not only to fry an egg on the sidewalk, but to fry your own frittata – with onion.

As if Global Warming wasn’t enough, I suspect that City officials in Italy contribute more to heat stroke and their populace's suffering than anyone or anything on earth (and I don't mean the steam the politicians blow off time and again)...

Forget the CO2 emissions and cow gas and icecaps melting

Italian food in the US

I added another video in the food section of the forum about the Olive Garden.



Ok both video are an exageration but they are funny and more or less they do express the truth: what you get at the Olive Garden is not what you eat in Italy

Pope Benedict XVI recently visited an elaborate thirty-square metre nativity scene in Naples where he celebrated Mass. He will also celebrate Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve at the huge nativity display in St. Peter’s Square under the huge Christmas tree. The Pope traditionally does this every year.
