New to the forum. Hello everyone.

I have been watching Italian movies like Life is Beautiful, The Postman, Johnny Stecchino, etc. (whatever my local video store has) and although it's a great way to learn Italian, I also want to watch American Movies (for example Star Wars) with Italian subtitles. I want to be able to see the Italian words in my favorite movies. I can't find any on the internet so far. I've tried searching Ebay, Netflix and Google with no success. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough. Don't know.

Any suggestions? Thanks. Great site.

You can try ebay.it ( non ebay.com) or any italian online dvd store. Most of the american movies offer both English and Italian language with subtutles.

I have found the titles you were looking for, in Italian with English subtitles.
Have a look at it. If you live in Europe it's a good site because there are no shipping expenses.

Remember DVDs have this unfortunate thing called region encoding. So, unless you have a DVD player that can play any region be careful buying DVDs.

Yes the region comment is correct however nowdays you can buy a region free DVD for the cost of dinner for one ! Look on ebay.com and look for region free DVD - Code free DVD

JT, I'm also looking for Italian movies that have captions or Italian subtitles besides the English subtitles.

Have lots of Italian movies but none with Italian subtitles.
And can't find any English movies with Italian subtitles neanche.
Have seen English movies on DVD with subtitles in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese(several dialects), Tagalo,
Martian and everyother language you can think of but not Italian.
It's frustrating!

I may be incredibly late on this whole discussion. Borders has a great selection of international movies, both in store and online. I had a hard time finding italian movies with english subtitles, but found everything i needed at borders. I am sure you can find the opposite
