I want to know about a place in Italy about which there is a concept among many non-travelers and students that this somewhat-exotic place is the country's capital city, but it's not.And this frequently (in-the-news) place (especially in Italy) displays topography that will literally "take your breath away".

If someone could answer that will be very nice.
