Ciao tutti,
I just want to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Martha Miller and I, like many of you, love Italy. A few years ago, my husband and I quit our jobs and moved to Rome. We didn't know anyone there and didn't have jobs waiting for us. It was a huge leap of faith that we funded ourselves. My husband studied at an American university and I began a new career as a freelance writer. Several of my articles are featured on this website.
Please let me know if I can answer any questions about making the transition or just any questions at all you might have. If you are dreaming about making a life in Italy, I enthusiastically encourage you to make it a reality. We loved our time there (2 years) and would do it again in a heartbeat.:)
