Anyone currently listen to Italian news/talk radio over the internet?
I've found a few channels, but right now one of them is playing American Country music!!
So far, http://www.radio24.ilsole24ore.com/popup/gr24-wmp.htm seems the best, but it is just a 10 minute loop tape which doesn't seem to have been updated recently.
I just want it on in the background just so I can get used to the tempo and pace to help me learn the language, so talk radio or news shows are the best.
grazie!

Happybunny I think Radio Rai (http://www.rai.it/dl/portal/radio.html) is the best to listen to someone speaking Italian.
They also broadcast news, services and many other things, so it's not only music.
Also music can help learning a language though!

Well, it's somewhat difficult:
- On the upper zone go to Radio (between TV and Multimedia)
- Choose "Ascolta la Radio in diretta"
- In the upper part of the page look for "Diretta Radio"
- Choose one of the Rai radios you want to listen to
- You can also look Rai TV in that zone.
In case you can't find it, try to click here (http://www.rai.it/dl/portal/radio.html), but I'm not sure it will work as Rai site is somewhat messed up.

In case anyone's interested, an amazingly produced show is starting in the UK and on U.S. cable called Roman Mysteries (based on the books by Caroline Lawrence). It truly shows how life was like in Ancient Rome (Ostia, to be exact) and they are fun for the whole family.
Go to www.romanmysteries.com to learn more about it.
The books (now counting 18 in total) are great for kids from 8 up.

I listen to Radio 105 out of Milan. It's more of today's music than talk, but the Dj's do talk in between songs. The songs are a cross between American and Italian artists.

In my state (Rhode Island) programs from RAI are broadcasted into our homes from 6:00 - 7:00 in the evening. I like to watch this to practice my Italian.

Thank you Paolo for the radio feed.
If anyone uses iTunes, there are a few streaming Italian radio stations on there as well :)
