Hello everyone...

My name is Rob, and I'm an Englishman living in, no not New York, but Copenhagen in Denmark.

I am a member of the British VFR forum, and as you have already guessed I have a Honda VFR which takes me (not often enough) to the Alps which also includes northern Italy. :D

My dream motorbike trip is one that zig-zags eastern Alps, through the entire length of Italy, up through sardinia/Corsica and if that wasnt enough down and around Spain, Portugal, spanish sierra's , zig zagging through western Alps back up north to Denmark... will take a month or so and is exhausting just to think of it. :D

Anyway, just looking around to "get in the know".

Have a nice Christmas and a great new year.

Best wishes
Robert aka Dr Z

Hi Robert -
I am trying to expand the lifeinitaly section on Motorcycle touring.
See http://www.lifeinitaly.com/motorcycle/
I am trying to add touring routes and images during the next few months.
If you have any nice shot of bikes on the Alps I could use them. Also if you have suggestions / itineraries etc. I ride a BMW GS as you can see

Hi Rob
your dream is not impossible, do it!!! I think the best time is may-june, then you can start to prepare your trip, you have plein of time to organise yourself.
In the meantime Happy Holiday
