my kitchen her in China is really small.. Why would it be big when one can buy the most delicious food on the streets for almost no money??

Now I invited some friends to an "italian evening".. Help .. all tips to cook food that can be prepared on beforehand are welcome.

My ideal menu would have :
Bruschette (with tomato, with mushrooms and truffle paste and with olive tapenade), gnocchi with parmesan and spinach, pasta al ragu, chicken al limone with roasted potatoes, mixed salad..
Any tips are welcome!

Instead of preparing gnocchi why don't you substitute it with risotto con funghi instead because you are already cooking pasta al ragu, you can easily prepare it and just put in the microwave oven for reheating...

offering re-heated pasta to guests would be considered very rude... I think Myriam menu is pretty good - I 'll have the gnocchi
