Ciao tutti,

I am currently reading "Eat Pray Love" part of which is about the author's experience of living in Italy for 3 months but I remember seeing a post about another book titled something like "an italian romance". Can anyone help me with the correct title please?

grazie,

Melanie

Ciao Melanie!

Good to hear from another Aussie! The book I think you may mean is the one written by Australian author, Lisa Clifford. The title, The Promise: An Italian Romance. Lisa is interestingly enough the daughter of June Dally-Watkins. Beautiful novel and so so true!!! I went through a lot of what she experienced, with my husband :)

If this is not the novel you were looking for, read it anyway!

Good luck with the Italian lessons too!

When you finish Eat, Pray, Love, would you post your own review on the thread for the book under Libri on this forum? Would love to hear other opinions on this very popular best seller. :)

If you want to feel in Italy .. read La Casa Rossa (don't know name of author but he/she is Italian). Great book.

Hi I am new here, sounds like an interesting book the one you mention
"For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return."
