Hello Everyone,

I'm Justin, one of the writers at Life in Italy and now a member of the new forum. It's been about five years since my last visit to Italy and I'm getting the itch to go back. In the meantime, I can't wait to read and respond to all the great topics we're going to cover here at the forum.

As some of you may already know, I have started a section on Life in Italy about the Italian American experience. It is a small section for now, but I know there are plenty of topics that readers would like to see covered. If anyone has a suggestion for what they would like to see in the Italian American section (listed as Heritage on the Home Page), just let me know.

:rolleyes: hi there just to say hello to everyone i'm moving to italy in the new year and am very excited about the great adventure. as i'm retired i hope i haven't taken on more than i can manage! i live on the island of skye so i'm used to living in an area of beautiful scenery, but from what i've seen of italy i'm sure i can find somewhere to live which is just as nice and with even better weather. i would be very happy to correspond with anyone who has recently retired to italy or to anyone at all just to share experiences. best wishes, sheila
