Paolo has very kindly allowed the posting of this appeal on this forum, so here goes....

In Delhi, India, 65 girls (http://www.ndtv.com/topstories/showtopstory.asp?id=20850&frmsrch=1&txtsrch=baba+balnath)aged 2 to 18 were discovered in an orphanage: diseased, disabled, and physically abused by the owner of the orphanage, who calls himself a holy man! :mad: This has been going on for thirty years.

The " holy man" is in custody now, but the girls are kept in judicial protection in his home state, and chances are he will go scot-free, if he is able to get someone to get to the girls, or worse still, make them disappear. :eek:

A few people who actually helped rescue the girls are now running a campaign to gather national and international support for the girls so they get the justice they deserve.
