We've visited Venezia two times and have yet to have found an outstanding dining experience. Part of the problem lies with us - we are not great fans of seafood and Venezia is on the sea so...

At any rate, the approach we used was to search the Internet - the Trip Advisor site has many user recommendations - and guide books.

The best "dining" experience we had was a bacaro tour - vino and cicchetti at three bacari - with Alessandro Schezzini ( +39 335 5309024). ;-)
