Grazie for all your hard work on the web-site, Paolo. It gets better all the time. I am looking forward to trying the CHAT feature on the weekend when I can use a headset and microphone.

Giovanni : Non mi ero accorto che il link era non funzionante- I did not realize the link was broken - Now it is fixed - Just go to the home page and click on the TV feed image.

Gina : The chat is working now - Sound is not perfect , Video is quite good - The problem is I have to figure out how to make appointments so people go there and the Chat is not empty - ANY Idea ?


PS Any suggestion on how to improve the website is always welcome - I will probably do a major redisign of the main site during the Summer -

PS PS - I just noticed fo example that at his time we have -2 members and 158 guests / Unregistered user on the website ... I need an idea that would encourage people of registering and posting ...Maybe an Italian ceramics present to the 'poster of the week' and a better present to the 'poster of the month'

Hmmmm. I guess we need to just see who is on-line when we want to chat and send them an e-mail asking if they want to chat???? Maybe not everyone has a headset and microphone for their computer. I have one because I use it for Skype and for Italian lessons. We all need to figure this out together as far as the chat. Anyone else have an idea?

I thing the best way is to have the chat always present in any page, on the right column? Wich is showing who is online. In that way it will encourage people to chat with. Right now the chat exist but is almost impossible to rich it. Where is it?
I alway need to go back to your first post and find again the deep link.

Regarding the count of guest viewers it is possible that some of those are registered users that have not signed on and don't use the Remember Me option of the log on. While prizes for the best posts might generate some new posts you might get more improvement in the number of registered users by offering a monthly drawing for a prize among the members that have logged on in the prior month (or week?).

That would both encourage visitors to register and encourage registered members to log on when they visit.

Just a thought...
