[Sorry, second posting, think I put it in wrong place before!]
Wow, I found this Forum after coming to the “Life in Italy” site many times and I’m thrilled. It’s such a wonderful way for people, of all sorts, to share their passion for Italy and, perhaps, make friends.
My ‘Profile’ will tell you all about me but, in short: I am 55, live in London, UK, have a 27-year-old son, a toy poodle and multiple sclerosis (MS)! As a former journalist I now enjoy writing blogs – and on Forums!
I am a quarter Italian (but my mother was adopted so don’t know our genealogy) and have been to Italy twice. I love the whole country (visited Roma, Gubbio and Napoli) but especially Roma. Oh yes, and I studied the language for a couple of years at the University of London and still practise online!
I look forward to meeting you all and getting to know more about Italian life and culture. I’m very happy to be here!
Love, Virginia
