Social Security doesn't need fixing. In the 1950's "they" told people they would never collect social security. The non-issue that Social Security needs to be fixed has been a ruse to divert us from real issues like the economy, the costs of war and "the reason" why money can't be spent on us.
Fearful people don't think logically; the politicians count on that. Social Security never has and never will need fixing. Notice how our government comes up with trillions when it pleases them to do so and yet doesn't have enough money for its' own citizens. This isn't logical. It's a shell game. While we are worrying they are looting the country.
Their fear propaganda is a bait and switch game. They bail out investment banks because they are in cohoots together. Most are Yale or Harvard male graduates from elite families. These elites form the tip of the pyramid who stick together against the 80% of the population below them. Control from the top is sown by fear mongering. Fear of the loss of social secuirty is the perfect vehicle to control the masses. Bush and Cheney and countless others have raped and looted this country since taking office. Now they are promoting the fear that illegal "aliens" (what think tank came up with that alien busness?) are raiding our Social Security. What nonsense! Check that out on Snopes.com.
Remember when Bush wanted to divert our Social Security funds to his buddies, the wall street financiers, obstensibly because "social security is in trouble?" In order to accomplish this heist he has to convince all of us that Social Secuirty is in trouble. First, he promotes the PROBLEM. In that way he/they can rape social security funds like Neil Bush, John and Cindy McCain and others of the Keating 5 did to the banks in the 1980's. Looting is their business; it has always been the elites' business.
Bush has "found" 12 billion dollars a week to spend on a bogus war! If Social Security needs shoring up then it would logically follow that he could find 12 billion dollars a week to shore it to the point of solvency. But, that is not the solution he wants for a problem we don't have. His SOLUTION is for Social Security to be privatized to his wallstreet buddies. The elites promote fear and lack; immoral leaders have always used this ploy.
Reminds one of the husband who has plenty of money for booze, but no money for his kids food and shoes. Control from the top is accomplished by telling the people their is a PROBLEM that needs a SOLUTION; HIS SOLUTION. The solution is one they have already decided upon, but first they have to get the population to BELIEVE THERE IS A PROBLEM. Don't believe Bush's propaganda of fear.
