I would like to point out this video. Its a video of Obama's Pastor, and the racist comments he made about Italians. And as a note...i'm not one to normally get offended by what people say about us. I mean I hear mob jokes all the time, this that and the other. But this one really pissed me off.

Here's his direct quote.

"(Jesus) enemies had their opinions about him...The Italians for the most part looked down their garlic noses...(The cruxifiction was) a public lynching Italian Style." - Rev. Jeremiah Wright

Hi Joe, I don't blame you for being offended. That guy is a jerk, pastor or not. Obama has already had to divorce himself from his pastor's remarks. You will unfortunately find this kind of intolerance and bigotry in every society. It doesn't mean that everyone is like that. I would just chalk this up to the fact that the man is ignorant and more intolerant than the people he rails against.

Well
It was an old comment and I did not pay any attention to it.

I came to the US about 20 years ago and I think Italians suffer for reverse razism: I mean usually it is helpful instead of harmful being Italian. I have been always treated very well and I even believe it is an advantage in romancing American women.
I did not see any type of razism toward Italian in the United States ( and for that matter in the rest of the world ) -
Crossing many countries now days it is also safer with an Italian passport rather than a US passport.

I think what upsets the most is that it is probably the dumbest thing i have ever heard. If it were a true statement, then id have no right to be offended. But the randomness to it is what gets me

The statement: "(Jesus) enemies had their opinions about him...The Italians for the most part looked down their garlic noses...(The cruxifiction was) a public lynching Italian Style." - Rev. Jeremiah Wright

is even dummer than...

"Do you have Blacks, too?"

"It was Condoleezza Rice, national security advisor, who tried to help her boss out of the embarassing situation. During a conversation between the two presidents, George W. clueless Bush and Fernando Henrique Cardoso, (Brazil), Bush bewildered his colleague with the racist question "Do you have blacks, too?" Rice, noticing how astonished the Brazilian was, tried in vain to save the day by telling Bush, "Mr. President, Brazil probably has more blacks than the USA. Some say it's the Country with the most blacks outside Africa." Later, the Brazilian president Cardoso said: regarding Latin America, Bush was still in his "learning phase."

This shows the ignorance G.W. Bush has toward blacks and any kind of forgein policy.

Bush supporters need to explain how somebody who is that stupid and ignorant is capable of running a country with almost 40 million blacks in it.
