I have an interesting question. Do Italians have flouride in the toothpaste? I'm thinking about buying organic toothpaste. I'm sick of my mouth burning everytime I brush.

Just checked the three different brands in the bathroom - all have added flouride. In the past we've had toothpaste with salvia and various other natural products, but I'd guess they have added flouride too - if no-one else knows, I'll check all the brands at the local Co-Op next week.

Fluoride is BAD for you! I quit using toothpaste. Now i use hydrogen peroxide and baking soda.

Micio is absoluetly right, Fluoride is BAD for you! Don't use it, it might fight cavities but so does brushing without it. Flouride breaks down calcium and that is what your teeth are made of. It doesn't make any sense to me that in order to use something to fight cavities you must deteriorate your teeth :D

I can speak for fluoride. I stopped using fluoride for a while and noticed that i was getting cavities again. I had to start back up again. Some people are genetically susceptible to getting cavities and have no choice to the matter.
