I recently received a copy of Giorgia's new CD "Stonta" I simply LOVE IT !! I just wished that I understood Italian. I previously posted a requested for the english translation of the lyrics to her CD. If any one can help me, I would deeply appreciate it. Also, if anyone can give me any recent news on her that would be great too!

Try searching for the Italian lyrics online and post them - pick one track though - a whole CD to translate may be a bit too much :)

Thanks, I have already checked out her website. I did a google page translate. That's how I new when her new CD came out. I will also try what you suggested about posting the lyrics.

From what I know only Boccelli has CDs in Italian with English translation.

Yes Paolo, I understood 'ciaoabella' was asking for a translation, but I just thought all the lyrics in one link might be useful for someone. You can also can search that link for the lyrics for just about any artist you want.

I agree with Aliena that it is difficult to translate the emotion and poetry in a song, which can be done only by a professional.

I have merely tried to get the meaning across to you, based on my one-year study of Italian! I have tried to stick to the song line by line, in the hopes that when you listen to the song with the rough translation, it will make sense.
