Does anyone know how one goes about becoming a soccer referee in Italy? I'm a referee here in US, but since I'm moving to Bologna in May, I would like to be able to continue refereeing, both youth/adults?
Qualcuno sa come diventare un arbitro di calcio in Italia?
Grazie

Hi Marcello!
for do soccer referee in Italy I don't know if your skill in US are nice, you have to ask to FIGC the federation of Soccer in Italy.
anyway the rule in Italy are:
make a curse in local association where you live, care of AIA Associazione Italiana Arbitri and at the and of course pass the exam write and medical
at this link you can found the place where is possible made the course
http://www.aia-figc.it/sezioni/
the courses normally are about 2/3 month
and you have to respect some minimum athletics condition and time
You can found all at he the official Aia's web site http://www.aia-figc.it/
after the exam if you graduate, they give you the uniform and the first game to ref.
for the first year only children after if you have nice skill you can made others course exams and ask for change level
Hope this can help you
