I found it interesting the Sicilian priest in question not only protested the commercial use of the Nativity but complained about the ad alluding to angels. Was he being right or just righteous? Sanctimonious or silly? Humble or humorless?

Well - I have seen many years of Lavazza advertising taking place in Paradise and I remember of several spots featuring paradise and several saints, angels and even the Boss etc

Well, at least the priest wrote to the company and protested, and did not start preaching to his followers about setting fire to buildings!
But then, using religious symbols in ads is always a tricky subject and best avoided wherever possible.

That said, the Red Bull company expressed itself the way it thought suitable, and the priest sent across his opinion: all very civilized and polite: I like that part; you have freedom of speech and polite protest both working without causing any damage anywhere!
