We will be spending 3-4 weeks in this area next Sept-Oct. I am looking for a nice place to stay for about 7 days(prefer apt. or small house for 4 people)in Urbino or nearby; or if you have some other wonderful recommendation, I'd like to hear it! I would head to Civitella del Tronto (fortress town) and to Controguerra (known for vineyards) if I crossed the border into northern Abruzzo.
