Hello,
My wife, myself and our 11 year old son returned from Italy two weeks ago. This was the best vacation we've ever had. We visited Milano, Varenna-Lago Como, Maranello (Ferrari),Gaiole in Chianti, Siena and finally Firenze. We cannot speak highly enough of the Italian people: their so kind, helpful and beautiful!
We're already saving and planning for our next trip- to Milano, Lago Como, Dolomiti and Venice.

A musical question.
On this website there is a video called DRIVING IN ITALY. It depicts Robert riding his Vespa in a spirited fashion in Naples.
Can someone please tell me the name of the song/performer who does the backround music??
We heard this tune in Florence in the Oltrano-Ponte Vecchio area.We heard it in a shop while my wife was trying on boots. The tune sounded so familiar, then I realised its from Driving in Italy it became the sound track for our trip. Any Idea who performs it and where I can obtain a CD??

Saluti,
David M :)

I did answer this before, ( this is an old request )
He is referring to the Vespa video
http://www.lifeinitaly.com/video/driving-in-italy.asp

The name of the song is "Il volo del Calabrone" or "The flight of the Bumble bee"

The video may not be no on youtube - Bob uploaded the video directly on Lifeinitaly
