For anyone out there interested in basketball (pallacanestro), the Boston Celtics - one of the most storied franchises in the sport have been in Rome recently to get ready for the NBA season.
The team, including their big stars, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen have been seen doing the tourist thing around Rome, including riding Vespas (which must look pretty funny).

If anyone is interested, there may be some seats left for tonights pre-season opener against the Toronto Raptors at Rome's PalaLottomatica.

Fans of Italian basketball may remember that former Serie A star Andrea Bargnani now plays for Toronto.

If anyone has recently spotted NBA players in Rome - send us the pics!

Should I look for the tallest lankiest men skipping around in the center of town?:)
I'll let you know if I spot one...

You got it Jacqueline - they should stick out like sore thumbs!

Considering Kevin Garnett is about 7 feet tall - he should be pretty hard to miss.

I would love to get a picture of him in one of those tiny fiat 500's - if he could fit:)

Kevin may fit in a fiat at seven feet, but he most curiously would not fit out, poor guy.
