"Superkiller Americano" is the headline
According to the article, Italian police are profiling and arresting older Americans in Italy after today's paper stated that Whitey Bulger and Cathy Greig were still at large.
Soon afterwards they arrested another older American who apparently looked LESS than the suspect at large!
So whats up with the police?

I did not know who Bulger was either, so I went and looked him up....appears he is the inspiration for Jack Nicholson's character in "The Departed" by Martin Scorsese.
Here is a link (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_J._Bulger), this guy has a colorful history as a mob boss.

The Italian police are able to randomly stop and check people, and they often stop cars to check people's documents. I have been stopped by the Guardia di Finanza, the Polizia Nazionale and the Carabinieri (my car does stand out a bit as it's yellow ) and on each occasion the officers have been polite but have not displayed any investigatory skills, not even asking for my name!
I'm sure many other grey haired men will be detained.
As a former police officer of 18 years in London, I am quite surprised to see on TV news articles how the police officers just wander through a crime scene while the "CSI"s are doing their job.
Sorry Paolo ;)

Here in Massachusetts, any Whitey Bulger news makes the headlines. The poor tourist whose picture was plastered all over the Boston newspapers was on the local news yesterday to clear himself.
His brother Billy Bulger was the president of UMass/Boston and when he tried to give a speech during my graduation that's all you could hear were people yelling "Hey Billy where's Whitey?"
They are really grasping at straws with Whitey, the guy is so well connected that he probably gets tipped off any time they are on his trail. Also there was a rumor out a few years ago that he has undergone plastic surgery to change his appearence. He is also known for cross-dressing, so maybe they should be looking for a woman! A very ugly woman
You are right bubbles, Whitey was the inspiration for Jack's character in "The Departed" but the scary thing is that the character was tame compared to some of the stories you hear about the real Whitey Bulger.
I always thought Whitey hated Italians - maybe he really is hiding in plain sight?
I was thinking of Jack Nicholson's character when I read the article on Wiki about Whitey Bulger! Go figure, pretty scary stuff.
But to think the Italian police force would catch him, in broad daylight, at the Spanish steps, with no reinforcement or bodyguards or anything is really hilarious!
Look! We caught a top ten most wanted fugitive! He was eating icecream at the Spanish steps! :p
Anyways, enough ranting, just be careful if you're an older American out there!
Oh and here's a photo of the (un)lucky couple and their police officer friends!

I can't believe they're smiling, I would be so pissed off!
