I am a new member and am looking forward to fully utalizing this site when I get it figured out.
My wife and I are senior citizens living in Marietta, Georgia USA.
We are presently planning our fourth visit to Italy to be made in April 2008.
Maybe someone could help me out, we want to re-visit the Colleseum and St. Peters. Will pre-purchasing tickets to those sites ease and speed up entry??

I'm a new member and have never been to Italy, but hope that'll be my next trip abroad. We have retired to MX and love it here,But have looked into several trips to Italy that sound fantastic.

Our first trip was in 2004 with a group pretty much all inclusive which is probably the best way for the first time because it is so different...I was not too enthused but my wife really wanted to go...loved the country, people & food...after our return and recovery from jet lag we decided we really wanted to go again...planned the trip over the internet and went again in 2005 by ourselves, rented a car and had a wonderful time roaming Tuscany and Umbria...then in 2006 returned with our 2 daughters (adults) and had a great time...we are now planning a spring 2008 return...we just can't get enough of Italy (for a guy who didn't want to go in the first place)
