Real estate is now a huge business to tackle! Usually the investors are coming from other places abroad. Our company is planning to have some business expansion in Italy. What locations their are suitable for putting up real estate business?

The inexpensive flights to Pescara from central Europe make Abruzzo an un and coming destination.

Actually I went with the same line of reasoning as Stefanaccio. As you can read in my post I bought my house in Bolsena: North Lazio just few miles from Tuscany and Umbria. Bolsena and Abruzzo are examples of location where there can be still a lot of growth. Cost of real estate in Abruzzo is probably 1/2 ( Stefano correct me here if I am wrong ) of what it is in Umbria and les than 1/2 than Tuscany.
Read about my blog on Bolsena. Maybe today I will add more text.
Stefano maybe you can upload some images of Abruzzo in the image gallery. I went to campo Imperatore on a motorcycle 2 years ago and it was so beautiful.

Over the last 3 or 4 years Sardinia has been getting a lot of attention in the British press. I remember one article which stated "forget Tuscany go for Sardinia". The reasoning behind this is that there are too many foreign inverstors in Tuscany, so the bargains that once existed are no longer there.

I have been living in Sardinia for just over 3 years. The property prices are have gone up a lot even in that time, but there are still many bargains to be had. Access is probably the major concern when investing here. A number of low cost airlines fly here from various European cities, and from spring 2008 there will be a direct flight from Cagliari to New York (seasonal).
There are 3 major airports: Cagliari (in the south), Alghero (in the north west) and Olbia (in the north east). The Costa Smeralda (served by Olbia airport) is the playground of the mega-rich, so unless you have lots of money to invest I would look elsewhere.
In the north east the most popular destinations with easy reach of the airport are Alghero and Bosa, whereas in the south they are Pula and Villasimius.

With year round good weather this is a good place to invest.
