E vero Gino. Capisco quasi tutto. When I was in Perugia last year
there was this Neopolitana family and I couldn't capire una parala di loro. Forse questo e neopolitano mixed with standard Italian.

This new style of Neapolitan music is almost a joke! It has none of the emotion of the old style and these modern so called "singers" like Raffaello and Genny Fenny make me wonder if Neapolitans are having a laugh at the rest of the world.

The Neapolitan Rap of people like Kid Slam is a million times better than this crap! :D

I don't know any of Kid Slam's stuff, but I like the old style Napolitana songs - that one is too much reminiscent of bad English 70's music! I agree with Aliena's summing up - crap! :D

Marky.. you don't want to know any of Kid Slams stuff - it's childishly disgraceful (but fun to a degree)- very rude and full of erm.. how can I say this.. erm.. sexual references might be a good way to describe his stuff.. but even so - it's better than this new wave of modern Neapolitan music.

Check him out by all means.. but unless you are an absolute expert on the Neapolitan dialect.. you have no chance of understanding it! :D

I doubt many Italians can understand all of it and so perhaps your only hope of a true translation is to ask Zidanie to do it for you - but if he is willing - ask him to send it to you through the PM system rather than post it on the forum!
